Location -Benaulim Beach is
2 km south of Colva at the centre of coastal Salcete Taluka.
How to Reach - To access
Benaulim Beach the nearest air route is Dabolim Airport and the closest rail
head is at Madgaon Station whereas buses from Margao's city bus stand near
the municipal garden leave every 15-30 minutes for the beach.

About Benaulim Beach
Lord Parashuram, the sixth avatar of Vishnu, is said to have created
Konkana by shooting an arrow, which pushed the hills back and raised the
coastal plain from under the sea. The arrow is supposed to have fallen
at Benaulim. In terms of access, it is closer than Colva. As a beach it
has every thing except the crowds which gives it a tranquil look. The
prettiest thing about Benaulim is its nightlife and still have your
solitude. It is one of the famous fishing spots of Goa.
The road from Colva's Char Rasta takes you past Sernabatim to the main
Maria Hall square of Benaulim, 2 kms away. Turn right and drive straight
down to the Benaulim Beach. Park your car and exult in the beauty of
Benaulim's sloping sands meeting the sea.

Water Sports at Water
There are lots of boatmen organizing dolphin-spotting trips, island
tours and crocodile-spotting trips. The beach sets you in action on

Built in 1581, it has Mannerist Frontage. Twin Balustrade tower in four
